Surfin' Safari: iTunes does not do HTML

Dave Hyatt says iTunes does not use WebKit to render the music store. What you see when you visit the iTunes music store may look "web-like", but it isn't HTML, and it isn't rendered by WebKit. So Apple cannot one day claim that iTunes cannot be separated from the operating system, because it uses the browser component that itself is not separable from the operating system. Can they?
